Training & Development
Employee development is organic to our culture at Adventist HealthCare. Everyone supports one another here. Everyone makes it a priority to share and mentor. Our leadership personnel in all areas place employees first. They continually strengthen their ability to inspire and deliver greater levels of career satisfaction to our team members. You will find that they intimately understand your desire to build your potential, and they are personally dedicated to providing you with the best resources to grow.
Employee Learning
We make sure you are well equipped to succeed by offering ongoing education and learning. Annual training may address healthcare’s changing regulatory climate as well as new services, products and initiatives we offer. Life Support training is also available for all employees (based on their job requirements). And, our commitment to you wouldn’t be complete without providing computer skills and electronic health record courses appropriate to your job.
High-Level Employee Support
Our supervisors, managers, directors and vice presidents benefit from training that empowers them to be more effective at their jobs and attentive to long-term career goals. These management development plans vary based on location. Shady Grove Adventist Hospital implements the Studer Group engagement model. Leaders at our other locations receive learning and development through the Advisory Board and other professional development programs tailored to their needs and aspirations.
The objective is to develop leaders who are accountable, and who make a substantial, lasting impact on employee engagement and on the system-wide development of our people.
